EMIAC can offer our clients Ocean Freight options to suit their specific freight requirements, whether you have a Less-Than-Container Load (LCL) and Full-Container Load (FCL), EMIAC has a Ocean Freight solution that will suite you.

• FCL Ocean Freight (Full-Container Load)
  • EMIAC’s Hunting Trophy Groupage Containers:
    • We have regular Ocean Freight Containers out of South Africa, containing only EMIAC’s hunting trophies clients (NO GENERAL CARGO IS EXPORTED IN OUR HUNTING TROPHY OCEAN FREIGHT CONTAINERS)
    • Exporting your trophies in our dedicated Hunting Trophy Groupage Containers, assure you peace of mind, with EMIAC in South Africa and our container receiving agent partners in the USA & Europe specialising in the handling of Hunting Trophies, so your consignment is handled with the appropriate care at both ends.
    • We will attend to all Customs Entries and Nature Conservations Endorsements prior to exporting of your consignment.
    • EMIAC’s Operations Team will co-ordinate with the Shipping line & Port Authority to schedule the collection of the container at the Empty Container Depot in line with the vessel’s stack dates at port.
    • EMIAC’s experience staff will personally load and secure your hunting trophy crates in the container, once loaded we will seal the container for transport.
    • We will arrange the Transport of the Container from our Warehouse to the Port where it will be stacked ready to be loaded on the vessel.
    • Tracking and Tracing is done throughout the export process of your consignment and regular updates are provided until our containers reaches the port of entry.
    • Regardless of the size of your consignment, our dedicated operation team will ensure it gets a space in one of our regular Ocean Freight containers
  • Customer’s Own Full Container:
    • You and your hunting party would like to export a Ocean Freight Container (20′ or 40′) out of South Africa to your home country, No Problem.
      • EMIAC can book the container with the shipping line.
      • Ensure all Shipping Line & Port Authority documentation has been completed and submitted.
      • Customs Entries and Nature Conservations Endorsements are completed prior to export of the container.
      • EMIAC’s Operations Team will co-ordinate with the Shipping line & Port Authority to schedule the collection of the container at the Empty Container Depot in line with the vessel’s stack dates at port.

• LCL Ocean Freight (Less-Than-Container Load)
  • EMIAC can export your consignment via LCL Ocean Freight to most destination throughout the world.
    • EMIAC will attend to your LCL Ocean Freight booking.
    • Ensure that all LCL Groupage Agent documentation have been completed and submitted.
    • Customs Entries and Nature Conservations Endorsements is completed prior to export.
    • EMIAC’s Operations Team will co-ordinate with the Shipping Line LCL Groupage Agents that your consignment be delivered to the Shipping Line LCL Depot for loading.
    • All LCL shipments will sail from South Africa via Singapore, where the containers will be transhipped onto a connecting vessel, the LCL containers will then embark on its final leg of the voyage from Singapore to its final destination.
    • Most LCL Ocean Freight destinations will have a sailing out of South Africa every fortnight, with transit times of +/- 38 days to 62 days, depending on the destination.

All of the above Ocean Freight options will be backed by our Operations Management Services that ensure that whether your crate is exported via LCL or your hunting groups crates via FCL. We will find an Ocean Freight solution that would suite your requirements & we will coordinate the whole process from start to end.

We collect trophies within all borders of South Africa, with our own vehicles and crews, we do not outsource the collection of your precious trophies to third parties. Our fleet of well maintained vehicles are driven by experience PDP drivers. We will dispatch the appropriate truck, depending on the goods being transported.

In the event that a specialised truck is required such as a horse with a lowbed trailer, EMIAC has a vast network of specialist transporter companies at our disposal to ensure that even a Elephant Full Mount wont be a problem for our experience operations team to collect and export.

Do you want us to to collect your High Value Trophy, no problem, we will arrange an armed escort vehicle that will accompany your High Valued Trophy from the collection point to the delivery address. the armed security will not know what is being transported but will have the mandate to keep it secure every kilometre of trip.

Any adhoc road freight requirements, whether its a Full Truck Load, Less Than Truckload or a Partial Truckload EMIAC can facilitate your transport needs.

Our 2100 square meter warehouse is situated a mere 10 km from OR Tambo International Airport – close to all Air Cargo Depots and related Government Departments. We have 24-hour security, linked to an armed response team from a reputable and reliable security company. The warehouse is also equipped with CCTV cameras, where your consignments will be securely stored in a climate controlled warehouse facility until its ready for export.

EMIAC can offer professional packing and crating of your precious & delicate consignments. Our packing and crating teams are all experienced in the art of packing and crating of the hunting trophies, with our average crating teams having a combined 10 to 25 years experience between them.

Your trophies will be crated as densely as possible, not only to save on freight costs but also to ensure that no damages occur while in transit.

Packing is also done in compliance to local & international standards/requirements and to that end, EMIAC is ISPM 15 accredited, and all the timber we use in the construction of the crates complies with International Wood Packaging Standards.
